The Lombok Journal of Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Conservation (LjMBC) is a scientific journal dedicated to publishing the latest research in microbiology, biotechnology, and conservation. It covers topics such as microbial ecology and biosystematics, industrial microorganisms, bioremediation, fermentation technology, genetic engineering, and biotechnological applications in health, agriculture, as well as biodiversity and environmental conservation. LjMBC is an open-access journal, allowing readers to access articles free of charge, while authors pay for publication. Published three times a year in January, April, and November. the journal uses both Indonesian and English languages and follows a rigorous peer-review process. Manuscripts that pass the editorial selection will be reviewed by experts in the relevant fields. Articles that are not accepted will be returned to the authors, and the editorial board reserves the right to edit manuscripts for clarity and suitability with the available space.
As a peer-reviewed journal, LjMBC is committed to maintaining high publication ethics, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the published articles. The journal serves as a platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to share knowledge and develop innovative solutions in the fields of microbiology, biotechnology, and conservation. All review processes are conducted using a double-blind review method, managed by the editorial board, ensuring the confidentiality of reviewers’ identities from the authors. Reviewers invited by editors to evaluate manuscripts must adhere to the Ethics for Reviewers.
LjMBC provides open access, enabling the public to freely read and download articles while supporting knowledge exchange in the service of science and humanity. Copyright for published articles is retained by the authors and protected under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

In line with the multidisciplinary nature of microbiology, biotechnology, and conservation, the Lombok Journal of Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Conservation (LjMBC) does not accept manuscripts authored by a single author. Papers focused solely on method optimization or confirmation, or those repeating previous studies with different organisms, will also not be considered, as they fall outside the journal's scope.
