Focus and Scope Journal

The Lombok Journal of Microbiology, Biotechnology and Conservation (LjMBC) publishes original research findings and evidence-based articles with robust and accountable methodologies. The journal also includes clinical applications, descriptions of best practices, and discussions of relevant professional issues or perspectives. Well-designed original research articles and review papers, with logically analyzed and interpreted results, are welcome. The primary preference is given to research with the potential to make significant contributions in the fields of microbiology, biotechnology, conservation, and to society in general.

The journal prioritizes papers in the following areas:

  • Basic and Applied Microbiology
  • Biotechnology and its applications in various aspects of life
  • Bioinformatics
  • Microbiome
  • Molecular Biology and Genetics
  • Conservation of Biota and Environment
  • All organisms related to microbial communities, including fungi, plants, animals, humans, and viruses

In line with the multidisciplinary nature of microbiology, biotechnology, and conservation, the Lombok Journal of Microbiology, Biotechnology and Conservation (LjMBC) does not accept manuscripts authored by a single author. Papers focused solely on method optimization or confirmation, or those repeating previous studies with different organisms, will also not be considered, as they fall outside the journal's scope.
