Abstract

Ekas Buana Village is famous for its beautiful beaches and abundant natural marine resources. The village's coastal waters are one of the main assets that support the lives of the village community, especially in the fisheries and tourism sectors. Environmental education is key in maintaining the sustainable use of marine resources. Increasing public awareness and knowledge about the importance of protecting marine ecosystems can help prevent further damage and encourage more environmentally friendly activities. Village mothers and teenagers have an important role in preserving the aquatic environment. mothers are social supervisors of environmental management and teachers of their children.Teenagers, with high enthusiasm and energy, can be effective agents of change in their communities. The aim of this service activity is to provide additional knowledge about the condition of Ekas Buana Beach waters so that they can be moved to take action to reduce waste input into coastal waters so that aquatic resources can be sustainable.Educational activities using adult education methods that are guiding and helpful. Educational activities were attended by 9 housewives and teenagers. The location of the activity was at the house of the head of the Pasir Putih cultivator group. Based on the results of research carried out in Ekas Bay, it is indicated that the waters of Ekas Bay have been polluted with nitrate and phosphate parameters based on PP No.22 of 2021. Excessive concentrations of nitrate and phosphorus parameters in the waters of Ekas Bay can be controlled by using extractive organisms. Mothers and teenagers who have KJA are advised to place several ropes in the KJA or plant seaweed using a raft system around the KJA.
