Allegations of Research Misconduct

Allegations of Research Misconduct

The Indonesian Journal of Aquaculture Medium is committed to investigating concerns regarding the integrity of submitted and published research.

Research misconduct may include fabrication or falsification of research data, plagiarism, image manipulation, inappropriate research practices, unethical data collection, unauthorized use of research materials, and deliberate misrepresentation of scientific findings.

Any allegation of misconduct will be subject to an initial assessment by the Editorial Board to determine its credibility and potential impact on the reliability of the manuscript or published article.

Where necessary, editors may request original data, laboratory records, research documentation, ethical approval, or other supporting evidence from the authors.

All parties involved will be treated fairly, and authors will be given a reasonable opportunity to respond to allegations before an editorial decision is made.

Depending on the nature and severity of the findings, appropriate actions may include manuscript rejection, suspension of editorial processing, publication of a correction, article retraction, or referral to the relevant institution.

The journal seeks to address all allegations objectively, confidentially where appropriate, and consistently with recognized publication ethics principles.
