KORELASI ANTARA LATAR BELAKANG PENDIDIKAN FORMAL NARAPIDANA TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS PEMBINAAN DI LAPAS MATARAM

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk pembinaan bagi warga binaan di Lapas Klas IIA Mataram serta dan menganalisis mengenai hubungan atau korelasi latar belakang pendidikan formal narapidana terhadap efektivitas pembinaan di Lapas Klas IIA Mataram. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian hukum empiris yang diambil dari data primer dengan melakukan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa bentuk pembinaan narapidana di Lapas Klas IIA Mataram dilakukan melalui dua bentuk yaitu pembinaan kepribadian dan pembinaan kemandirian. Hubungan antara latar belakang pendidikan formal narapidana dengan efektivitas pembinaan narapidana di lapas Klas IIA Mataram berbanding lurus dengan kecendrungan mereka untuk berbuat kejahatan kembali atau menjadi residivis yang menjadi indikator dalam penelitian ini. Kata Kunci : Korelasi, Pendidikan Formal, Efektivitas     THE CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FORMAL EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND OF PRISONERS ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT IN MATARAM PRISONS The research purpose is to find out the type of development for inmates in Class IIA Mataram prison and analyze the relationship or correlation of the formal educational background of convicts to the effectiveness of coaching in the Mataram Class IIA prison. The research is an empirical legal research method taken from primary data from interviews. Based on the results of the study, the type of human development for prisoners at the Mataram Class IIA prison is carried out in two forms, namely personality development and independence development. The relationship between the formal educational background of prisoners and the effectiveness of prisoners' human development at Class IIA Mataram prison is directly proportional to their tendency to commit crimes again or become recidivists which is an indicator in this study.
