About the Journal
Lombok Medical Journal (e-ISSN: 2827-7686) is a scientific journal published by Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

Lombok Medical Journal (LMJ), first published in 2022, is issued three times annually in January, May, and September. Each issue contains 6–10 articles, amounting to approximately 18–30 articles per calendar year.
Starting from the September 2026 issue (Volume 5, Number 3), the journal increases its publication capacity to 15 articles per issue in order to accommodate a growing number of high-quality submissions.
The journal adopts an online-first publication system, whereby accepted articles are published online as soon as they have completed the editorial and production processes, without waiting for the full issue to be finalized. This system has been implemented since the May 2026 issue.
Lombok Medical Journal (LMJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal and has been accredited at SINTA 3 based on the Decree of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Number 156/C/C3/KPT/2026 dated April 7, 2026. This accreditation reflects the journal’s quality and its contribution to national scientific publication standards.
The journal is dedicated to advancing medical sciences across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including basic sciences, clinical medicine, community and public health, and medical education, with the aim of integrating research to improve human health outcomes.
The journal publishes a variety of manuscript types, including:
- Original research articles
- Review articles/Systematic review
- Case reports
The average processing time for manuscripts at Lombok Medical Journal (LMJ)—from submission to editorial decision—is up to 3 months.
