Author Guidelines and Document Template 

Author Guidelines for Lombok Medical Journal (LMJ)

  • All manuscripts submitted to Lombok Medical Journal (LMJ) must be written in English.
  • Manuscripts must be typed using Book Antiqua font, size 10 pt, with single line spacing, on A4 paper size, except for the abstract section.
  • The manuscript length must not exceed 12 pages, including references and appendices.
  • Each manuscript must include an abstract in English, followed by 3–5 keywords. The abstract and keywords must be typed in Book Antiqua font, size 9 pt, single-spaced.
  • Foreign terms should be used appropriately and written in italics where necessary.
  • Citations must follow the in-text citation system, and references must be formatted according to the APA 7th Edition (American Psychological Association) style.
  • The reference list must be typed in Book Antiqua font, size 10 pt, single-spaced. Authors are strongly encouraged to use peer-reviewed journal articles as primary references and to avoid citing non-scholarly web sources. References should preferably be from the last 10 years, except for seminal or foundational works (e.g., key theories or frameworks).
  • All clinical research involving human subjects must obtain approval from an appropriate Research Ethics Committee, and proof of ethical clearance must be provided.

Review Article

Review article is a review of various articles in journals or books on the development of cutting-edge natural medicine. The review consists of:

Case Report

Case Report Contains an article about clinical cases related to the use of natural medicine and is good for dissemination among other colleagues. The case report consists of:

Authors who publish with Lombok Medical Journal (LMJ), agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Lisensi Creative Commons Atribusi 4.0 Internasional. This license allows authors to use all articles, data sets, graphics and appendices in data mining applications, search engines, web sites, blogs, and other platforms by providing an appropriate reference. The journal allows the author(s) to hold the copyright without restrictions and will retain publishing rights without restrictions.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in Lombok Medical Journal

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.

  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
