Hubungan Kecenderungan Penggunaan Input Pinyin dengan Kemampuan Menulis Hanzi Manual Mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin Semester 4 Universitas Ma Chung

Penelitian ini meneliti hubungan antara penggunaan input pinyin dengan kemampuan menulis hanzi manual mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin Semester 4 Universitas Ma Chung. Permasalahan yang diteliti adalah bagaimana kecenderungan penggunaan input pinyin mahasiswa, bagaimana kemampuan menulis hanzi manual mahasiswa tanpa bantuan input pinyin, dan apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecenderungan penggunaan input pinyin dengan kemampuan menulis hanzi manual pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin semester 4 Universitas Ma Chung. Tujuan penelitian bagi mahasiswa dan dosen adalah memahami bahaya negatif kecenderungan penggunaan input pinyin tanpa diimbangi dengan latihan menulis hanzi manual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen angket dan tes. Pertama-tama dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas kedua instrumen. Setelah itu dilakukan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji linieritas dan uji outlier. Hasil dari uji korelasi menyatakan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kecenderungan penggunaan input pinyin dengan kemampuan menulis hanzi manual mahasiswa. Penyebabnya adalah karena jumlah responden yang terlalu sedikit, hasil data tes yang kurang bervariasi dikarenakan soal tes yang terlalu mudah, dan mahasiswa memperoleh banyak latihan menulis hanzi secara manual melalui berbagai mata kuliah sehingga kemampuan menulis mereka tetap terjaga.
