Authorship Criteria
Authorship Criteria
The Indonesian Journal of Aquaculture Medium recognizes authorship as both an acknowledgment of intellectual contribution and a responsibility for the integrity of published research.
Individuals listed as authors should satisfy the following criteria:
-
Make substantial contributions to the conception or design of the study, acquisition of research data, or analysis and interpretation of findings.
-
Participate in drafting the manuscript or critically revising its intellectual content.
-
Review and approve the final version of the manuscript before submission or publication.
-
Accept accountability for their contributions and cooperate in resolving questions concerning the accuracy or integrity of the work.
All authors must agree to the manuscript submission, authorship order, institutional affiliations, and final published version.
The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the Editorial Office throughout submission, peer review, revision, and publication. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors are informed of editorial decisions and approve any substantial modifications.
Contributions limited to general supervision, administrative support, funding acquisition, or technical assistance do not automatically justify authorship. Such contributions may be acknowledged in the Acknowledgments section.
JMAI does not tolerate inappropriate authorship practices, including guest authorship, gift authorship, and ghost authorship. Any request to add, remove, or rearrange authors after submission must be supported by a valid explanation and written consent from all affected authors.
