Pelatihan Literasi Media Digital Berbasis Nilai Islam Bagi Santriwati Pondok Pesantren Salaf

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have created new opportunities and challenges for young Muslims, including santriwati in a Salaf-kind of Pesantren. The lack of critical skills in filtering digital information causes high vulnerability to hoaxes, hate speech, and intolerant content. This article aims to describe the process, approach, and results of community service activities in the form of Islamic value-based digital media literacy training at the Nurut Tauhid Islamic Boarding School, Lumajang. This activity uses a participatory method with a combination of interactive lectures, case studies, simulations, and reflection on Islamic values. The pre-test and post-test results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, from an average score of 58.2 to 90.3 (32.1% increase). This article concludes that the integration of the critical digital literacy approach and maqāṣid al-sharī'ah principles can encourage critical awareness, ethical attitudes, and Islamic digital responsibility among female santri. This activity is worth replicating in various pesantren with local contextual adjustments.
