The Journal of Fish Nutrition welcomes constructive scientific comments, questions, and criticism concerning published articles. Post-publication discussion aims to clarify findings, assess interpretations, and improve the scientific record where necessary.
Submitting Comments
Comments should be sent to the journal’s official email address listed on the Contact page and include:
-
The article title and DOI.
-
The sender’s name and affiliation.

Specific comments or questions.
-
Supporting data, references, or evidence where available.

Comments must address scientific content, use professional language, and avoid personal attacks or unsupported allegations.
Handling Discussions
The editor will assess the relevance and scientific basis of the comments. Article authors may be invited to respond. Where appropriate, comments and responses may be published as correspondence or editorial notices linked to the relevant article. Additional review may be conducted when necessary.
Not all correspondence will be published. Editors may request revisions or decline comments that are irrelevant, repetitive, unsupported, or inconsistent with professional communication.
If a discussion identifies concerns affecting article reliability, the journal will address them under its policies on allegations of research misconduct and corrections and retractions.
