Mengembangkan Motivasi Literasi dan Pendidikan Anak-Anak Dusun Sedau Dese Melalui Konfigurasi Pendidikan Berbasis Teknologi

ABSTRAK
Rendahnya motivasi literasi dan semangat pendidikan di Indonesia menjadi tugas besar yang belum kunjung terselesaikan oleh pemerintah, sehingga pembangunan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) masih terhambat. Dusun Sedau Dese, Desa Sedau, Kecamatan Narmada, Kabupaten Lombok Barat menjadi salah satu bukti nyata kurangnya perhatian masyarakat terhadap urgensi pendidikan. Meskipun demikian, sebagian besar masyarakat Dusun Sedau Dese, termasuk pula kalangan anak-anak sudah memiliki ponsel pintar yang pada umumnya mereka gunakan hanya untuk sarana hiburan dan komunikasi. Oleh sebab itu, pengabdian ini memiliki tujuan agar masyarakat terkhusus anak-anak dapat memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai sarana dan media belajar melalui program pengenalan pendidikan berbasis teknologi dengan memanfaatkan website Quizizz. Dengan dilaksanakannya program ini, tersirat harapan agar anak-anak Dusun Sedau Dese mulai akrab dengan ponselnya dalam ruang lingkup pembelajaran.
 
 
ABSTRACT
The low motivation for literacy and limited enthusiasm for education in Indonesia pose a significant challenge that the government has yet to fully address. Consequently, the development and improvement of human resources are still hindered. A clear example of this lack of public attention to the urgency of education can be found in Sedau Dese Hamlet, Sedau Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency. Despite this, it's noteworthy that the majority of people in Sedau Dese Hamlet, including children, already own smartphones. However, these devices are predominantly used for entertainment and communication purposes. The aim of this initiative is to encourage the community, especially children, to leverage technology as a learning tool through a technology-based education introduction program that utilizes Quizizz. By implementing this community service program, the intention is for the children of Sedau Dese to become more familiar with their smartphones in the context of learning. This shift in approach is expected to promote the utilization of technology for educational purposes, fostering a more positive attitude toward learning within the community.
