Abstract

Freshwater fishery commodities are very economically valuable. This is because the nutritional content of fish can meet daily protein needs, so there is no doubt that cultivation as an industry can be done to make a profit. Therefore, cultivation is an important sector in improving the community's economy. Karang Anyar Hamlet has become the center of freshwater fish cultivation production in Lunyuk Rea village with an area of ​​1,942 m2. Although freshwater fish cultivation is still developing, the management of air quality cultivation is not yet understood by the group of Karamel Indah fish farmers. Therefore, through this extension activity, it is hoped that it can improve the understanding of fish farmer groups about air quality management for a sustainable cultivation system. Study Program Fisheries Science Life Sciences and Technology Faculty of Technology University Sumbawa has conducted counseling and mentoring in Lunyuk Rea village in March 2022 with the theme of Water Quality Management of Freshwater Fish Cultivation Offers, strategic steps and problems and targets, namely the group of Karamel Indah farmers. Based on discussions and communications during counseling and mentoring, there needs to be a demonstration plot for freshwater fish cultivation in Lunyuk Rea village, Sumbawa Regency as a place for training and learning for the community.
