About the Journal

The Journal of Sustainable Community Empowerment is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Mataram, focusing on the dissemination of innovative, impactful, and sustainable community service activities. The journal publishes articles twice a year and covers various areas of empowerment such as education, economics, health, socio-cultural fields, appropriate technology, MSME strengthening, environmental conservation, and the implementation of local wisdom. Each submitted manuscript undergoes a rigorous selection process through a double-blind review mechanism to ensure scientific quality and societal impact. As an open-access journal, all articles can be freely accessed to support knowledge transfer and collaboration among academics, practitioners, government, and communities in advancing sustainable community development.

This journal accepts manuscripts related to, but not limited to, the following topics:

• Community empowerment in education, economics, health, social, and cultural sectors;

• Development of appropriate technology to enhance community capacity;

• Implementation of local wisdom in community empowerment and environmental conservation;

• Programs to improve community literacy, numeracy, and competencies;

• Strengthening MSMEs, the creative economy, and community entrepreneurship;

• Environmental empowerment and green community concepts;

• Community development and capacity building;

• Sustainable assistance in village or community governance;
