Moluskum Kontagiosum Pada Anak Dengan Penyakit Thalassemia

Pendahuluan: Moluskum kontagiosum adalah infeksi virus pada kulit yang disebabkan oleh poxvirus dan menginfeksi anak usia sekolah, orang dewasa, dan pasien dengan imunokompromais. Transmisinya dapat melalui kontak kulit langsung, otoinokulasi, atau melalui benda yang terkontaminasi, misalnya handuk, baju, dan kolam renang dengan masa inkubasi 2-8 minggu. Kasus : Seorang anak laki-laki berusia 16 tahun dengan keluhan timbul bentol pada tangan yang tidak gatal maupun nyeri. Manifestasi kulitnya berupa lesi papul multipel berwarna putih, berbentuk kubah dengan ukuran lenticular, terdapat lekukan pada tengah papul, berbatas tegas, susunan berkelompok dengan penyebaran bilateral dibagian ekstremitas atas. Penatalaksanaan pada kasus dengan pemberian terapi topikal berupa salep asam salisilat 10% 2x/hari pada daerah lesi dan pasien direkomendasikan untuk rutin memecahkan lesinya. Kesimpulan: Usia sekolah dan kondisi imunokompromais merupakan faktor resiko yang dapat menyebabkan lesi moluskum kontagiosum cenderung bertahan lebih lama dengan jumlah lesi yang banyak.Downloads
