Kegiatan Penyuluhan Demam Tifoid pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar Kelas 5 sebagai Upaya Preventif Dini terhadap Penyakit Gastrointestinal di SDN 1 Senggigi, Lombok, NTB

Abstrak

Background : Typhoid Fever is gastrointestinal tract infection that caused by Salmonella typhi and Salmonella paratyphi. Based on data of WHO 2019, it is estimated that there are 9 million cases of typhoid fever and which 110.000 dies each year. Meanwhile, case in West Nusa Tenggara reached 1,214 that occupying the fourth position of the most common disease suffered by the community Methode : Socialization activity through visit to the elementary school one Senggigi, Batu Layar district, West Lombok regency, west nusa tenggara province Result : Based on evaluation through post test (quiz) after delivering the material, students of fifth grade understand the material that has been delivered Conclusion : Based on the result, it can be concluded that socialization of typhoid fever with students of fifth grade  in elementary school one senggigi doing great and received a positive response and most of the students had understood the material about typhoid fever.
