Abstract

Fertilization is one of the critical aspects of vegetable cultivation techniques. NPK fertilizer is a complete compound fertilizer suitable for plant fertilization. This study aims to determine the growth responses of bok choy plants to the use of NPK fertilizer and to determine the level of uniformity of distribution of sprinkler irrigation water in supporting the growth of bok choy plants. The experimental method tests the effect of NPK fertilizer with various doses in each treatment and  water distribution uniformity to support plant growth. The parameters observed in this study were uniformity coefficient, height of plants, number of leaves, and physical properties of the soil. The average value of the uniformity coefficient of water distribution was 89,85%. The height growth of bok choy plants in P2 treatment at 30 days after planting was 25.1 cm, while the number of leaves in P2 treatment at 30 days after planting was 14 strands. Using a sprinkler irrigation system, bok choy plants responded well to P2 treatment (7 grams of NPK + 1 liter of water).
