So far, the Javanese langur's habitat includes primary forest, secondary forest, coastal forest, mangrove forest and tropical rainforest. However, currently based on information from the community, there are groups of Javanese langurs that have left the natural forest, one of which is the community forest. The object of research is to know of community's knowledge about the existence of Javanese langur in the community forest, the community's perception of the existence of Javanese langur in the community forest and the relationship between knowledge and community perception of the existence of Javanese langur in the community forest, Pamoyanan Village, Cibinong District, Cianjur Regency, West Java. The data collected included interviews using closed questionnaires. The analysis data by SPSS 25 followed by a correlation test with a confidence level of 0.05. The result of research is that public knowledge has the highest frequency of 46 respondents with a percentage of 76.7% in the good category. The public's perception that the frequency and the highest percentage got 54 respondents with a percentage of 90% in the good category, therefore, the public's presentation of Javanese langu</em><em>r</em><em> is good. &nbsp;The correlation of knowledge and perception of the community as a whole with a sample of 60 people about the existence of Javanese langur has a sig value of 0.00 which means there is a correlation or there is a strong relationship or a strong correlation.</em></p> Reni Srimulyaningsih, Nucky Nursyamsie Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Rimba Lestari https://journal.unram.ac.id/index.php/rimbalestari/article/view/3271 Fri, 10 Nov 2023 13:52:07 +0000 COMMUNITY-BASED MANAGEMENT OF SEGENTER WATERFALL ECOTOURISM IN KUMBI, PAKUAN VILLAGE, WEST LOMBOK https://journal.unram.ac.id/index.php/rimbalestari/article/view/3053 <p>The tourism potential in Kumbi Hamlet, Pakuan Village, precisely in the Nuraksa Forest Park area, is very large. Ecotourism managers of Nuraksa Forest Park should make decisions and make ecotourism management strategies to attract local and foreign tourists. In fact, in the field, managers are still considered lacking in terms of managing the pattern of management of ecotourism potential in Kumbi hamlet and determining priority strategies to be developed. This study aims to determine the pattern of <em>community-based ecotourism</em> management and the prioritization of alternative pattern components that will be used in the management of segenter waterfall ecotourism. This type of research is qualitative and quantitative descriptive research using field study and interview approaches. The location of this research is in Kumbi Hamlet, with data sources from local communities and resource persons who are <em>experts</em> in the field of tourism, namely: kasi planning, and kasi tourism development. The data collection technique uses interviews and questionnaires. This research data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and <em>Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) </em>with the help of <em>Expert Choice 11 software.</em> The results showed that the existing patterns in the management of community-based ecotourism are patterns of education and environmental awareness, local capacity building, partnerships with external parties, and local economic empowerment.
