Religion, Culture, and State (RCS) is a peer-reviewed journal committed to the publication of scholarship in social science and humanities. It focuses on the field study of religion, sociology, anthropology, politics, language, and education. 

This journal's issues include religious tradition, rituals, cultural practices, local wisdom, identity, media, democracy, authority, and gender. The journal is published three times a year, in March, July, and November
