DISSEMINATION OF TOURIST MINES AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF NAUTICAL TOURISM IN THE SPECK VILLAGE OF THE NEW BASE DISTRICT OF THE CENTRAL BANGKA DISTRICT

Abstract

Mines tourism is interpreted as the concept of an integrated management approach based on conservation with a focus on the development of fisheries and maritime tourism. The development of the concept of mines tourism aims to develop the economy of the people of the region based on the exploitation of the potential of marine resources, fisheries, and tourism in an integrated manner in a given region. The Community Service Program in Kebintik Village will be focused on socialization activities, FGD and mentoring alternative nautical tourism programs to improve tourist visits. The problems facing partners are: 1) The partners are not optimally managing the mines tourist  area; and 2) The partner does not have the knowledge related to the management of the mines tourist area. This activity is expected to contribute to, among other things: 1) Helping people to get side business from fishing based tourism activities; and 2) Increasing people's income from mining tourism activities. Outcomes resulting from these activities are: 1) Increase in the quantity and quality of tourist visits; 2) Improvement of people's understanding and skills of mina tourism activities; and 3) Increase in people's income. Program achievement indicators are: 1) Increased community participation; 2) Improvement of public welfare; 3) Improvement of community knowledge; and 4) Improvement of people's independence. As a result of the activity, the Kebintik Village Government and the community were able to contribute positively to all stages of the activity well. The initiated Nautical tourism startup program is beach cleaning and trash bin provision, as well as installation of Beach volley net.
