Acne vulgaris was a prevalent dermatological condition commonly observed in adolescents and young adults. This condition can significantly impact one's quality of life and has psychological effects, including a decrease in self-confidence. One of the contributing factors to the development of acne was dietary habits, particularly the consumption of fast food. Fast foods, such as pizza, burgers, fried chicken, french fries, and ice cream, are high in saturated fats, sugars, salts, and preservatives, which may induce inflammation and exacerbate skin conditions. Furthermore, lifestyle factors, such as inadequate sleep, stress, and the use of inappropriate skincare products, may aggravate the condition. Therefore, adopting a balanced diet and regulating fast food intake emerges as an effective strategy to mitigate the risk of acne in adolescent and young adults.Downloads
