Abstract

Perdarahan uterus abnormal (PUA) merupakan salah satu bentuk gejala ginekologis berupa perdarahan uterus yang berbeda dari menstruasi normal pada wanita usia reproduktif yang tidak hamil, salah satunya disebabkan oleh kanker endometrium. Kanker endometrium adalah transformasi ganas dari stroma endometrium dan atau kelenjar endometrium yang ditandai dengan membran inti sel yang ireguler, nukleus atipikal, aktivitas mitosis yang meningkat, hilangnya pola atau gambaran normal kelenjar, serta ukuran sel yang ireguler. Salah satu faktor risiko yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kanker endometrium adalah nuliparitas. Penanganan yang tepat dan cepat dalam menangani anemia akibat perdarahan, dan tatalaksana operatif berupa histerektomi total dengan salfingooforektomi bilateral memberikan efek baik pada penyembuhan,.
