TROMBOSITOSIS ESENSIAL: MENGENALI AWITAN HINGGA PROGNOSIS

Penyakit neoplasma myeloid merupakan suatu keadaan dimana sel myeloid dapat mengalami proliferasi klonal secara berlebihan. Salah satu klasifikasi dari penyakit tersebut adalah trombositosis esensial. Tombositosis Esensial (TE) adalah penyakit mieloproliferatif dengan ciri proliferasi berlebih pada megakariosit sehingga jumlah trombosit di dalam darah melebihi batas normal. TE dapat timbul akibat adanya mutasi dari beberapa gen yaitu gen JAK2, CALR atau MPL. Diagnosis penyakit TE ditegakkan berdasarkan hasil anamnesis, pemeriksaan fisik dan pemeriksaan penunjang berupa pemeriksaan laboratorium. Penyakit TE dapat ditangani dengan beberapa terapi diantaranya mielosupresi, antiplatelet, platelet-pheresis/thrombocytopheresis, dan inhibitor JAK. Ditinjau dari perjalanan penyakitnya, TE biasanya bersifat stabil selama 10-20 tahun atau lebih. Setelah bertahun-tahun penyakit ini dapat bertransformasi menjadi myelofibrosis maupun penyakit berbahaya lainnya jika tidak ditangani dengan baik.Downloads
