Empyema and hydrops of the gallbladder are conditions that result from obstruction or infection of the gallbladder. This article provides an overview of both conditions, including their etiology, clinical manifestations, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management. Emphasis is placed on the importance of early diagnosis and appropriate management to minimize morbidity and mortality. The prognosis of hydrops and empyema of the gallbladder is influenced by factors such as age and underlying health conditions. Prevention also plays a crucial role in reducing the risk of gallstone formation and its complications.Downloads
