Abstract: Fistula ani lebih banyak ditemukan pada pria dengan rasio perbandingan sebesar 12,3 berbanding 5,6 pada wanita per 100.000 populasi. Fistula ani dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai etiologi, salah satunya infeksi cryptoglandular. Infeksi ini dapat mengakibatkan abses perianal dan menimbulkan ruang kosong yang mengakibatkan fistula ani. Gejala yang dapat timbul adalah nyeri, keluarnya pus atau nanah dan darah dari abses di daerah anal. Diagnosis dapat ditegakkan melalui anamnesis, pemeriksaan fisik dan pemeriksaan penunjang. Dengan adanya kemungkinan komplikasi yang dapat terjadi baik sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penatalaksaan, diperlukan pemilihan penatalaksanaan dan pencegahan faktor resiko agar dapat terhindar dari fistula ani maupun komplikasi yang dapat terjadi.Downloads
