Uji Aktivitas Anti Kolonisasi Bakteri Asam Laktat dari Kefir Susu Kambing terhadap Bakteri Escherichia Coli Penghasil Extended Spectrum Beta Lactamase pada Usus Mencit Balb/C

Escherichia coli (E.coli) adalah salah satu jenis spesies bakteri Gram negatif yang merupakan flora normal pada saluran pencernaan. Namun, berpotensi dapat menjadi patogen apabila jumlahnya dalam saluran pencernaan meningkat. Terinfeksi E.coli dapat menimbulkan beragam penyakit radang usus seperti IBD, Crohn dan kolitis ulserativa. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi BAL dalam menghambat kolonisasi E.coli penghasil ESBL secara in-vivo pada mencit BALB/c. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan pendekatan post-test only control group design. Secara keseluruhan penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian eksperimental laboratorik. Uji hambatan kolonisasi E.coli penghasil ESBL dilakukan secara in vivo dengan menggunakan mencit BALB/c berusia 6 minggu. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan penurunan yang signifikan terhadap jumlah koloni E.coli penghasil ESBL pada mencit BALB/c yang di induksi pelet dan CFS BAL. Isolat BAL yang diisolasi dari kefir susu kambing mampu menghambat kolonisasi bakteri E.coli penghasil ESBL pada usus mencit BALB/c.Published
