Skoring HOTEL dan REMS Sebagai Prediktor Mortalitas Pasien Geriatri di IGD Rumah Sakit Saiful Anwar Malang

Pasien geriatri merupakan pasien lanjut usia yang memiliki karakteristik khusus apabila berkunjung di IGD. Pasien geriatri cenderung memiliki prognosis yang tidak cukup baik terhadap suatu kondisi patologis sehingga dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kematian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan skoring HOTEL dan REMS dalam memprediksi mortalitas pasien geriatri di IGD RSSA Malang. Data penelitian diambil bulan Juli-Oktober 2021, prospektif menggunakan desain analitik observasional berdasarkan hasil analisis Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) dengan melihat luas area bawah kurva/ area under curve (AUC). Dari 4170 didapatkan 518 pasien geriatri yang memenuhi kriteria. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa nilai AUC HOTEL dan REMS adalah 0,812 dan 0,816 (p-value<0.001). Skoring HOTEL dan REMS secara umum memiliki kemampuan yang sama dalam memprediksi mortalitas pasien geriatri, namun skoring REMS lebih aplikatif dan mudah penggunaannya dari parameter yang digunakan.Downloads
