Abstract

Berat badan ibu sebelum hamil merupakan salah satu gambaran status gizi ibu, memiliki hubungan erat dengan berat lahir bayi. Kenaikan berat badan selama kehamilan merupakan gambaran laju pertumbuhan janin dalam kandungan yang perlu diperhatikan karena kenaikan berat badan yang kurang maupun berlebih bisa menimbulkan permasalahan yang serius bagi bayi dan ibunya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara pertambahan berat badan selama kehamilan dan berat bayi saat lahir. Desain penelitian adalah analitik observasional dengan pendekatan potong lintang. Data penelitian diperoleh dari kohort ibu, kartu ibu dan kohort bayi yang melakukan pemeriksaan kehamilan pada Juli 2017 – Januari 2018 di polindes di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Meninting. Data diuji menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Data dari 150 responden diikutsertakan pada penelitian ini, dengan kelompok usia terbanyak 20–35 tahun (78%) dan status kehamilan multigravida (71%). Berdasar uji statistik tidak didapatkan korelasi antara pertambahan berat badan selama kehamilan dan berat bayi saat lahir (p>0,05). pertambahan berat badan ibu selama kehamilan bukan merupakan satu-satunya faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap berat bayi saat lahir.
