Sekitar 10-20% serangan stroke setiap tahunnya disebabkan oleh stroke hemoragik. Stroke hemoragik yang paling ditakutkan terjadi adalah subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) karena memiliki dampak ekonomi, morbiditas, dan mortilitas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan jenis stroke lainnya meskipun prevalensi kejadiannya cukup rendah. Sekitar 80% subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) nontrauma disebabkan oleh pecahnya aneurisma intrakranial yang akan mendorong darah mengisi ruang subarakhnoid dan merangsang struktur-struktur disekitarnya sehingga menimbulkan gejala khas berupa kaku kuduk dan thunderclap headache. Meskipun terdapat gejala khas, tingkat kesalahan dalam diagnosis stroke ini masih cukup tinggi. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman terhadap segala aspek yang berkaitan dengan subarachnoid hemorrhage sangat penting dalam mengoptimalkan kemampuan dan pelayanan terhadap pasien.Downloads
