Abstract

Abstract: Background : Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem characterized by impaired growth and development of children. This condition has long-term impacts on the quality of life of children, including decreased cognitive abilities, learning achievement, and productivity in the future. Methode : This educational activity was carried out in the Rarang Village Office Hall with around 30 participants consisting of mothers of toddlers, pregnant women and Psoyandu cadres. The delivery method was in the form of socialization with picture media and power point materials as well as interactive discussions with participants. Result : This activity received positive appreciation from the village head, and cadres in particular. The participants were very active, enthusiastic and interactive in the discussion. The material provided was in the form of understanding, impacts and issues of stunting as well as how to prevent and overcome stunting through an explanation of the contents of my plate. Conclusion : This nutrition education activity went smoothly and received a positive response from participants from mothers of toddlers, pregnant women and posyandu cadres. The participants were able to receive the counseling materials..
