The rapid growth of e-commerce and food delivery services has created a critical gap in last-mile logistics, specifically the lack of secure parcel reception facilities in urban residences. This study aims to design a "Safe Drop Box" product that enables the independent receipt of goods and food packages without requiring the recipient's presence. The design methodology combines VDI 2221 with Scenario-Based Design to produce a solution that is both technically reliable and contextually relevant. Field observations (n = 27 findings) and questionnaires (n = 38 respondents) revealed that 62.2% of respondents worry about package theft and 50% are rarely home when the courier arrives. Three design variants were evaluated through technical and economic assessments. Variant 1 achieved the highest scores (technical: 0.86; economic: 0.85). The final product features a one-way entry door mechanism, wall-mounting via Fischer wall plugs, a transparent acrylic window, food ventilation slots, and a pine wood cover on a 900cm x 450cm x 450cm hollow iron frame. The product successfully met all criteria on the requirements list and proved effective during prototype evaluation across standard, high-attention, and emergency scenarios. The Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) is Rp 1,177,200 with a selling price of Rp 1,530,360, proving its economic viability for the urban market.
